Set on a quiet, tree-lined street in Charleswood, Alcrest was a classic mid-century Winnipeg bungalow — solid bones, a generous lot, and a floor plan untouched for decades. The main level was carved into small, closed rooms with the kitchen hidden behind a wall, and the basement sat unfinished beneath it. Nyce Renos took the home back to the studs across both levels. We opened the main floor into one continuous space, built a new high-gloss kitchen around a honed black stone peninsula, framed a linear fireplace in white stacked stone, and developed the lower level into a full second living floor.
