Henderson

Henderson is a storybook-style Winnipeg character home, and the arches are what make it. Nyce Renos kept every one: the arched plank front door, the arched French doors between rooms, the cased openings, and the pair of arched niches flanking the fireplace. The brick was painted black against a sage wall, and a geometric batten feature wall was built in the dining area. The kitchen was rebuilt in white slab cabinetry with walnut counters, a marble-look hexagon backsplash and brass hardware. Both levels and the basement were finished throughout, down to a bathroom below.
