Kawaii Land is a retail build-out inside a heritage market building, where the exposed timber posts, painted brick and steel bracing were never going to be hidden. Nyce Renos worked with them instead. The storefront was framed in stained wood joinery with angled display windows and a curved illuminated sign band, so the shopfront reads as part of the building rather than something dropped into it. Inside, wood-look flooring, black track lighting and custom timber display tables on steel trestles carry the same material language through the unit, right down to the crates and risers.
